Welcome to my new blog! Since pinterest has become so huge lately and I've seen such great ideas I thought I would take the time to blog about my crafty ideas (or my borrowed ideas from pinterest really!) So up first is my new wreath. I saw the idea on pinterest and I knew it would be perfect for Memorial Day. I love having something hanging on our front door at all times and I usually go with wreaths so I can still see out my peep-hole.
Ok so here is the deal with this wreath. It's just a styrofoam ring and cloth. I used 52 pieces of red material, 52 pieces of white material, and 32 pieces of blue material and it was all cut into 2 inch by 14 inch pieces. The I simplied tied them around the wreath, double knotting them of course and waaa-la here it is.

So there it is. Probably not the best in the world but it will do for us! And it's not gonna hang long this time since Father's Day will be coming up soon and I've got an idea for a new wreath just to celebrate dad! Hope everyone enjoys their memorial day!
